"I Have Before Me...

A Remarkable Document Given to Me By a Young Lady from Rwanda." (The extraordinarily long title of the play that we went to.) I am taking a theatre class to cover one of my area courses for school and we have to go see a couple of plays, which Greg and I both enjoy. So Friday night we headed out to the Boise Contemporary theatre and watched this fabulous play about a girl who survived the genocide. We then went to the adorable Goody's shop in Hyde Park for some
of their amazing ice cream. It is in the historic part of Boise so the shop is old school. I love it!! It was an awesome night to start off our Valentines weekend.

We spent most of Saturday with my family. Greg made me a yummy breakfast and gave me these gorgeous flowers! I have to brag about him because he picked the flowers out himself (he wanted me to make it clear that he did not arrange them, a nice lady did that for him) Didn't he do a marvelous job? Lilies are my favorite too! I'm proud of him. They are just starting to bloom so they will be around for a while. Im excited.
My dad took us out for a Valentines lunch at one of our favorite Restaraunts, Red Robin and we then hung out at the house with them. It was a great weekend with some pretty fantastic people!

I wish I could have gone and seen that play with you. I am kind of genocide guru these days, in a weird sort of way. I took a History of the Holocaust class and it was one of those classes that changes you forever. Right now I am a big supporter of ending the Genocide in Darfur. You should check it out: www.savedarfur.org
